In August my buds Rory and Lindsay said “I do,” and guess who got to fly to Michigan to photograph them? ME!! It was me.
Everyone got ready at a charming old house before heading to Weller’s Carriage House down the street. They opted for an unplugged ceremony, asking their guests to put their phones away and be present, and after the reception I witnessed some of the best damn guest dancing EVER, thanks to their band Green Fourteen. The whole day was fun with a relaxed vibe, the grounds at Weller’s were gorgeous, and, most importantly, they had a pizzas come out of the oven for a snack around 10 pm.
My favorite part of their weekend celebration was the day after the wedding. Lindsay put her dress back on, Rory loaded their dog Dezzi into the car, and we went out to a spot where Lindsay used to play as a kid for a few more photos. (Brides-To-Be: Did you know you could do that?!) Rory and Lindsay, thank you for flying me to The Mitten so I could help you celebrate the start of your biggest adventure yet!
