How to Respond to “Can I Get a Discount?”

Can we get a collective “BOOOOOOOO” in the name of price-shoppers?

Because how awful does it feel to invest thousands of dollars into education and thousands of hours into practice to ensure your product or service is the best it can be… only to get a message that says “hey I love your work! Do you give discounts?”

The obnoxiousness of this question never really goes away, but you can make it an easy one to answer.

Here are my 3 favorite ways to handle price-shoppers:

    1. Instead of saying “no” to requests for discounts, turn the tables and give them the burden of saying no. “I don’t have any discounts available right now, what’s your budget? Great, here’s what I CAN do within your budget. Would you like me to send you my booking form/the link to purchase?”

    2. Be empathetic, but not a pushover. “I don’t currently have any discounts available, but I totally understand feeling like you’re not in a position to make this kind of investment right now. I’ll be here when you’re ready.”

    3. Make it immediately clear to price-shoppers that you’re offering a top-shelf product or service that’s worth every damn penny so they don’t even bother asking for a discount. There are a lot of ways to communicate this, but in my humble (YET PROFESSIONAL) opinion, your images are going to make the biggest impact. Using quality, well-lit, attention-grabbing photos in your marketing is the most efficient way to communicate your value.

And I have exciting news: I’m opening up just FOUR spots for content creation for the rest of the year!

Instead of desperately scrounging the internet for the perfect stock image at 2 a.m., imagine having a whole gallery of stock images to pull from that were created just for you and your brand. Talk about a game-changer!

Being visible online doesn’t have to be a struggle! Stop wasting precious hours searching for images that sort-of kind-of work with your brand and start sharing images that are created specifically FOR your brand.

The best part? We can live in totally different states (or countries) for this service. I’ve worked with content creation clients in other parts of Washington, Alaska, and even New York!

Whether you need updated images of your products or offer a non-visual service like coaching, there’s a way to make my content creation service work for you.

I’m raising my rates in January, so this is the lowest price these packages will ever be.
